Meet the Owner

Christopher Zapata, MS, LCPC

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Christopher Zapata is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor who has been providing evidence-based therapeutic services for over 15 years. He received his Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.

Mr. Zapata works with clients from adolescence to late life. He has worked across the full continuum of care — including inpatient, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient settings.

He is a culturally sensitive clinician with extensive experience working with diverse clinical populations including: eating disorders (Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, ARFID), mood and anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, non-suicidal self-injury, borderline personality disorder, and mental health disruptions from chronic illness.

Outside of the therapy room, Christopher finds meaning and restoration in the quiet wonder of a starlit sky, the rhythm of a good book, and the kind of wandering that only happens when you follow that gentle tug from curiosity.

Whether he's cheering for that fade away jumper, unwinding with an Attenborough narrated docuseries, or simply laying on the floor watching the dogs master puppy brain games at the end of a long day — he finds that the extraordinary is found in the ordinary. He moves through the world with kindness, intention and a genuine curiosity. Mr. Zapata pursues meaning in all that he does. He practices what he teaches and brings his openness, curiosity, and desire to collaborate to every therapeutic relationship.
